Follow-up treamentThe general tumor follow-up treatment largely resembles that after open prostatectomy. PSA values should be monitored at 3-monthly intervals in the first year, at 6-monthly intervals in the second year and every 12 months as of the third year. This can be performed as an office procedure by the patient’s own urologist.
